Cell Phones For Soldiers

Councilwoman Jane Bonner is teaming up with “Cell Phones For Soldiers,” a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing cost-free communication services and emergency funding to active-duty military members and veterans.

Please consider donating old cell phones. Donations of devices allow “Cell Phones For Soldiers” to fund its three programs:

  1. Minutes That Matter: Domestic Air Time - Provides domestic wireless minutes and phones to veterans, military personal and military family members
  2. Minutes That Matter: International Calling Cards - Provides free calling cards to troops overseas to help connect to loved ones
  3. Helping Heroes Homes - Assists veterans with emergency funds to alleviate communication challenges, as well as physical, emotional and assimilation hardships

Dates

The drive will take place from September 15 through October 15.
