Animal Shelter Committee

In order to facilitate outreach, education and adoptions, the Town Board of the Town of Brookhaven has established an “Animal Shelter Advisory Committee.” 

Mission

The mission of this Advisory Committee is to identify proactive, creative approaches to engage and facilitate communication within the animal welfare community; foster and assist the development of animal welfare programs in the community; promote collaboration between the Town and its private citizens, institutions, agencies and volunteers interested in conducting activities relating to animal welfare, Town-wide and at its shelter facility.
