Due to COVID-19 the Henrietta Acampora Recreation Center is closed to the public.
Residents are invited to join any of our various activities geared towards children and adults of all ages. Whether you’re starting a new hobby, continuing an old one or just looking for a place to meet new friends you are sure to find it at our recreation center.
Looking for a venue to host your next party or community meeting? Our recreation center is available for rentals (permit and fees apply).
Comfort Aids lends medical equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, commodes, canes and shower chairs at no cost to Town of Brookhaven residents. Supplies are limited and distributed on a first-come first-served basis. Donations are accepted and greatly appreciated.
Emergency Food Pantry
Emergency Food Pantry is open for residents in need of assistance, Monday - Friday, 9 am through 1 pm. Donations welcomed.
Don’t let your insurance discount expire! The Town of Brookhaven, along with American Safety Inc., hosts classes at our local recreation centers, Town Hall and Safety Town. Class size is limited; please call for dates and times 631-363-5193.
Helpline is a free telephone reassurance program for isolated or homebound seniors. To sign up for this program or to volunteer your time, please call the Town of Brookhaven Senior Citizen Division at 451-9191.
