Paint Disposal

The Town has established a paint recycling drop-off in conjunction with the NYS Paint Stewardship program. Administered by the nonprofit PaintCare, this will keep paint from being thrown away and will instead recycle it to the highest extent possible. Leftover paint will be remixed into recycled paint, used as fuel, made into other products, or properly disposed if no other beneficial use can be found. Oil-based paint will no longer be taken at the STOP Facility.
