Veteran’s Services

The Town of Brookhaven Division of Veteran’s Services is dedicated to the needs and concerns of Brookhaven’s Veterans. It is the mission of this office to serve our Veterans by gathering and providing information of benefits provided by the Veterans Administration, State, County and local governments. This includes, but not limited to matters pertaining to educational training, employment, health and medical services.

Veteran Property Tax Exemptions

Information for Veterans to obtain property tax exemptions can be obtained by calling the Brookhaven Town Assessor’s Office at 631-451-6300.

The Veterans Service Office is located on the first floor of Brookhaven Town Hall. Please call our Veterans Service Officer Brian Rooney at 631-451-6574 for an appointment. Office hours are Mondays and Fridays.
