Activities & Events

The Brookhaven Arts and Humanities Council (BAHC) is dedicated to assisting and supporting artists who live and/or work in Brookhaven Town and to enhance the cultural life of the community. Activities include monthly gallery exhibitions, workshops for adults and children in visual and performing arts, a quarterly newsletter. Biggest event is the Brookhaven Choral Festival, which welcomes singers from the metropolitan area to participate in a Festival concert. There are also enrichment classes and a Children’s Chorus attached to the Festival.

About the Council

The BAHC was founded in 1993 as a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. It is dedicated to assisting and supporting artists who live and/or work in the Town of Brookhaven and to enhance the cultural life of the community through a wide variety of visual and performing arts events. Activities include regularly scheduled art exhibitions, workshops for adults and children in visual and performing arts, the annual Choral Festival at Brookhaven and so much more. New members are always welcome. So come by and enjoy the works of the many talented local artists or share your own.
