The Town of Brookhaven offers various positions for full time, part time and seasonal employment. Those interested in part time employment can download an employment application located on our online form page, or call the Division of Personnel at 451-6633, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Those interested in seasonal employment may apply directly through the Town of Brookhaven’s website.

Civil Service Lists

Most full time appointments with the Town of Brookhaven are made utilizing Suffolk County Department of Civil Service lists. Please contact the Suffolk County Department of Civil Service directly at 631-853-5500, or visit their website to ascertain information regarding future examinations. In addition, there are a limited number of full time positions which are not Civil Service tested. Information regarding such positions, is available by contacting the Division of Personnel.
