With the Thanksgiving holiday quickly approaching, JVC Broadcasting and its roster of five radio stations is once again hosting their annual “Food Fight Against Hunger” food drive to support the Brookhaven INTERFACE Program. Read Press Release.
Saturday, November 23 and Sunday, November 24 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
All five radio stations, including Party 105, My Country 96.1, La Fiesta 98.5, LI News Radio 103.9 and Oldies 98.1 will battle each other to see who can collect the most donated food. At past events, JVC Broadcasting has been very successful in raising donations and is looking forward to continuing in this tradition this November.
Suggested food items for donations include all non-perishables, such as canned soups, canned cranberry sauce, turkey gravy, stuffing mix, instant potatoes, canned sweet or white potatoes, rice, canned vegetables, jar or canned sauce, macaroni, canned fruit, puddings, jello, cookie mix, cake mix and icing and juice. Frozen turkeys will be accepted. Also, donations of $10 Gift Cards to local supermarkets will be accepted.
