The Town of Brookhaven is committed to providing equal access to Town meetings and events for all participants. Interpreter services for limited English proficient and deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals are available, free of charge, upon request. If you require a language translator or an ASL interpreter, please contact us with your request no later than 48 hours prior to the meeting and/or event you wish to participate in.
During these walks we will discuss and observe the stark beauty of the beach and salt marsh in the cold season. We will explore the effects of snow and ice on the natural environment, discuss wildlife adaptations, identify plants in their winter form, and observe active winter wetlands.
Please dress appropriately.
E-mail email@example.com to make your reservation. Please provide your name, phone number, and number of people, with ages of children. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Registrants will be contacted if cancellation due to inclement weather.
