Supervisor & Councilmen Celebrate Groundbreaking for Tritec’s Ronkonkoma Hub Development

Six business men with shovels at groundbreaking ceremony

Farmingville, NY - On November 20, Supervisor Ed Romaine, Councilman Neil Foley and Councilman Kevin LaValle were on-hand at the groundbreaking ceremony for Tritec Real Estate's Ronkonkoma Hub. The $650 million multi-modal transit-oriented, mixed-use development is located adjacent to the Long Island Railroad's Ronkonkoma station and Long Island Macarthur Airport. It is also near major roadways including Veterans Highway and the Long Island Expressway. The overall project will consist of 1,450 residential units, 360,000 square feet of office / medical space, 195,000 square feet of retail, and 60,000 square feet of hospitality / community space on 53 acres. The groundbreaking event celebrated the start of Phase 1, which is comprised of 489 residential units spread across six buildings.
