Councilman Loguercio Meets with Girl Scouts from Troop 1386 in Medford

Loguercio with Girl Scout Troop 1386

Farmingville, NY –  On January 23, Councilman Michael Loguercio met with Girl Scouts from Troop 1386 at Eagle Elementary School in Medford to discuss local issues and what it means to be a good citizen. The girls interviewed the Councilman, asked many questions and shared the great experiences they have had volunteering in and around the community. Part of their assignment to prepare for the meeting was to create a “Vote for Me” poster and describe what elected position they would like to hold and why someone should consider voting for them. The girls had many great suggestions about how they could offer help to residents.

Councilman Loguercio said, “Thank you to all the young ladies for making a positive impact here in Brookhaven Town. They are great role models and I certainly appreciate their passion and dedication to our community.”
