Supervisor Romaine Honors Elder Jerome Smith from City Sounds Music

Farmingville, NY –  On February 23, Supervisor Ed Romaine (left) visited the Mastic Moriches Shirley Community Library to honor Jerome “City” Smith (right), Musical Director and CEO of “City Sounds Music.” His ensemble is the official house band and music vendor for Atlantis Marine World. Their featured performances at Eisenhower Park include the African American Night in 2013, the 60th Anniversary of the Motown Sound and a Tribute to Michael Jackson in 2009 and the 2006 Summer Concert Series in the park. The Supervisor presented Mr. Smith with a proclamation honoring him for his community service and declaring February 23 as Elder Jerome Smith Day in the Town of Brookhaven.
