Town to Temporarily Close West Meadow Beach Parking Lot for Cap. Improvements Starting on March 18

Farmingville, NY –  The Town of Brookhaven Parks, Recreation and Sports and Cultural Resources Department has announced that the parking lot at West Meadow Beach in Stony Brook will be temporarily closed for improvements starting Monday, March 18. The lot will re-open before Memorial Day weekend (May 25, 26, 27) when the summer season begins. The work, which includes new curbs, sidewalks, plantings and pavilion renovations, are part of the Brookhaven Town’s Parks Capital Improvement program. During the parking lot closure, residents will be permitted to park along Trustees Road. For more information, call 631-451 TOWN (8696).
