Farmingville, NY – Councilman Michael Loguercio visited Longwood Junior High School on January 18 to meet with 120 members of the National Junior Honor Society. He was invited to speak with the students and discuss what they view as important issues facing their community, and how we can best use our resources to address those that they identified. The students shared their view on how characteristics such as integrity, honor, leadership and citizenship, help mold their future, and assist with them becoming leaders in our community and beyond.
“I thank the Longwood Junior High School faculty and students for inviting me to speak at the school,” said Councilman Loguercio, who is also the former president of the Longwood Board of Education. “The students asked great questions and we had some very interesting discussions. They have a bright future and I wish them luck during this school year and beyond.”
