Farmingville, NY –  On March 21, Councilman Michael Loguercio (right) visited VFW Post 8300 in East Patchogue to drop off several old and tattered flags that his office recently received. The Councilman wanted to make sure that the flags would be retired honorably during a special ceremony later in the year. The VFW asks that anyone with a flag that needs to be retired, to please visit the VFW Post 8300 at 330 North Dunton Avenue and drop them in the special depository near the entrance of the building.

Councilman Loguercio said, “It is important to make sure that anytime we see a veteran or their family members, we thank them for the sacrifices that they have made. Thank you to our friends at VFW Post 8300 for their commitment to our community and country.”
