Farmingville, NY –  On March 6, Councilman Michael Loguercio (front row, fifth from left) met with students and student advisors at the Bellport Middle School Middle School. He was there to honor the students and staff who collected items for the school’s food drive. Their goal was to collect 3,000 items and they surpassed that by collecting 3,397. The items were donated to Lighthouse Mission of East Patchogue to help feed the families in need in the South Country School District.

Councilman Loguercio said, “I commend the Bellport Middle School Student Council and Honor Society who spearheaded the drive and all the students and staff who collected food. Thanks to their hard work and support, this effort will help so many families in the community.”
