Farmingville, NY – Supervisor Ed Romaine and Councilman Dan Panico recently welcomed area seniors to the Town’s new Moriches Bay Recreation Center, located at 313 Frowein Road in Center Moriches. They were there for the kickoff of the Senior Nutrition Program that is offered every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The program is made possible thanks to funding from the United States Department of Health and Human Services, New York State and Suffolk County Office of Aging. There is a voluntary, anonymous donation of $2.00 per person. It is also strongly recommended that interested seniors contact the Senior Citizens Office at 631-451-9191, by noon, a day in advance. Visit our Senior Citizen's Services page for more information about the many programs offered by the Town’s Division of Senior Services.
