Farmingville, NY – The Town of Brookhaven Disability Task Force is hosting its second Annual Youth Abilities Resource Fair on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the Middle Country Library in Centereach from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event will include resource tables, interactive children’s activities, occupational therapy student volunteers, guest speakers and more. The fair, which was attended by more than 400 people in 2018, is planned and presented by the Brookhaven Town Disability Task Force, Middle Country Public Library Youth Development staff, and Stony Brook University Occupational Therapy students. The mission of Brookhaven Town’s Disability Task Force is to provide the Town Board with information and recommendations that will help the Town in its efforts to develop programs and improve facilities in order to accommodate and offer equal opportunities for residents with special needs and allow them to become more active members of our community.
