Farmingville, NY – On April 27, Councilwoman Jane Bonner attended World T’ai Chi and Qigong Day at the Town of Brookhaven’s Diamond in the Pines Park in Coram. World T’ai Chi and Qigong Day educates people worldwide about Tai Chi and Qigong health benefits, provides a free global teachers directory, free online video lessons, medical research, and resources on how to incorporate mind-body arts into society at all levels. The event was coordinated by Laurince D. McElroy from Water Tiger T’ai Chi. Pictured with Councilwoman Bonner at left is participant, James Brennan.
Councilwoman Bonner said, “It was a perfect day to for all those who participated in T’ai Chi and Qigong Day at Diamond in the Pines Park. It is an event that helps people to learn the mind-body practices that can improve everyone’s quality of life.”
