Farmingville, NY - On May 11, Councilman Michael Loguercio (left photo, left) joined volunteers to work on the "South Country Community Leadership Network Extreme Yard Clean-up." Each year, the group provides yard clean ups for select residents in the South Country School District whose homes need a little TLC. They are joined by community volunteers who come together to help support this initiative. This year the Councilman donated several yards of mulch and topsoil to the property and worked together with volunteers from the South Country community. Councilman Loguercio said, “I look forward to this event every year. It is wonderful to see the community come together to help beautify someone’s home. The homeowners are always so appreciative, and the beautification helps make the neighborhood that much brighter for all to enjoy. Thank you to everyone who participated this year and volunteered their time to make it a special day for this family.”
