Farmingville, NY -  On Saturday, May 18, Councilwoman Jane Bonner joined “Curby,” the Town’s recycling mascot and more than 3,800 volunteers across the Town for the 12th Annual Great Brookhaven Clean Up. This annual event was co-sponsored by the Town of Brookhaven’s Department of Recycling and Sustainable Materials Management and Keep America Beautiful, Inc. The Annual Great Brookhaven Clean Up is part of a national effort that draws nearly 2.5 million volunteers in more than 15,000 communities across America who came together to pick up litter, renew parks, and clean miles of roadway, rivers, lakes, and seashore.
