[ARCHIVED] Sup. Losquadro, Councilman Loguercio Announce Paving of Whiskey Road in Middle Island/Rocky Point

Superintendent Losquadro and Councilman Loguercio

Coram, NY –  Brookhaven Town Highway Superintendent Daniel P. Losquadro and Councilman Michael Loguercio have announced the completion of the paving of Whiskey Road from Miller Place-Yaphank Road in Middle Island to Rocky Point Yaphank Road in Rocky Point.

The total cost for this project, which also included the replacement of damaged cobblestone curb at both entrances to Creekside Drive, was approximately $128,000.

Superintendent Losquadro said, “This section of Whiskey Road sees a lot of traffic from the roundabout to County Road 21. I was happy to include its resurfacing among our 2019 paving projects.”

Councilman Loguercio said, “As a major alternative thoroughfare to Rt. 25, I am extremely grateful to our Highway Department for constantly maintaining this roadway and keeping it safe for the many people that traverse it each and every day.”
