Farmingville, NY - On June 3, Councilwoman Jane Bonner attended the monthly meeting of the Mount Sinai Civic Association where she had the opportunity to swear in the new officers. The ceremony was held at the Heritage Trust Community Center in the Town of Brookhaven’s Heritage Park in Mount Sinai. Pictured left to right are Councilwoman Bonner and the new officers: President Ann Becker; Vice President/Corresponding Secretary, Brad Arrington; Treasurer, Monica Stone and Membership Secretary, Jennifer Roth. The Mount Sinai Civic Association, which was established in 1916, holds their meetings on the first Monday of the month (except January, July and August).
Councilwoman Bonner said, “Attending he Mount Sinai Civic Association meetings provide me with an opportunity to update the residents about what’s going on in the Town and to hear what they have to say. They have a long, rich history and their members take great pride in their community. I congratulate the new officers and look forward to working with them in the future.”
