Farmingville, NY -  On June 8, Councilwoman Jane Bonner attended the Eagle Scout Court of Honor for Boy Scout Troop 560 at the Coram Fire Headquarters. During the event, Councilwoman Bonner congratulated the scouts for the achievement and presented each one with a proclamation from the Town Board. Councilwoman Bonner said, “These boys are very active members of the community and we are proud to have them leading by example for their peers. I congratulate the boys and their families and wish them much success in the future.”

Since the award was presented in 1912, no more than four percent of all Scouts have attained the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). Since its introduction in 1911, the Eagle Scout rank has been earned by more than two million young men.
