Farmingville, NY -  On June 23, Councilwoman Jane Bonner (right) attended the Court of Honor ceremony for new Eagle Scout Jeremy Wilder from Boy Scout Troop 64 in Coram. The event was held at the Coram Fire Department in Coram. Jeremy completed his Eagle Scout Project requirements by constructing a planter box at the Sunshine Prevention Center in Port Jefferson Station to give the outside of the building a more inviting and appealing look.

“Not only does Jeremy join a long list of Eagle Scouts from Troop 64 but he also joins his brothers Joshua and Ethan. I commend the Wilder family for their continued support of the Boy Scouts of America mission,” said Councilwoman Bonner. “Jeremy shows incredible leadership and dedication to community service and is a great example for his younger peers.”
