Councilwoman Bonner Welcomes Rocky Point High School Life Skills Students to Town Hall

Farmingville, NY – On February 15, Councilwoman Jane Bonner met with Rocky Point High School Life Skills students at Brookhaven Town Hall. During their visit, the students had the opportunity to speak with Councilwoman Bonner and learn about her role and responsibilities as an elected official. The students were also given a tour of Town Hall where they met with other elected officials, commissioners and department heads. The visit was part of a World of Work (WOW) tour to help students learn about the different careers and jobs at various places within the community. Pictured left to right are Councilwoman Bonner with students Valerie Morton, Kyle Cantone and Jeyson Zambrano.

Councilwoman Bonner said, “It’s always a pleasure to meet with students and talk about their goals and aspirations. Being an elected official is such a rewarding experience and I always encourage young people to get involved in public service.”
