Supervisor Romaine and Councilman Loguercio Honor Hagerman FD at NYS Drill and Parade

Farmingville, NY -  On August 17, Supervisor Ed Romaine (left) and Councilman Michael Loguercio (right) attended the 2019 New York State Drill and Parade hosted by the Hagerman Fire Department. During the event, the Supervisor and Councilman presented a proclamation to Hagerman Fire Chief Thomas Dunham (center) in recognition of the department’s service to the community. The drill was held at the department’s race track located on the headquarter property which also includes several training facilities. The Hagerman Fire Department was established in 1930 with five men and a used 1914 fire truck. Today, the department includes 125 members with more than 60 active firefighters who answer approximately 400 alarms annually in the district that covers over 15 square miles.
