Congressman Lee Zeldin and WNBA Hall of Famer Sue Wicks to Join in the Fun
Farmingville, NY - Brookhaven Town Councilman Dan Panico and teammates United States Congressman Lee Zeldin and WNBA Star of the New York Liberty Sue Wicks are challenging local teens to a friendly, but competitive game of basketball at Councilman Panico’s annual 3 On 3 Basketball Tournament being held on Friday, September 13th., 5:30 p.m., at the Mastic Athletic Complex, located on Frances Landau Place and Mastic Beach Road in Mastic.
Councilman Panico said, “I always enjoy this annual event because it gives the youth of our community a chance to interact with their Councilman, their Congressman and many others in fun but competitive basketball games. I encourage everyone to come down and enjoy a nice evening for what I’m sure will be a lot of fun.”
This fun-filled evening will feature a series of 3 ON 3 games, music by Party 105, light refreshments, prizes and giveaways. There is no charge for this event, which is sponsored by the Brookhaven Town Youth Bureau and part of the Mastic-Shirley Safe Summer Program. Teenagers are encouraged to participate!
