Farmingville, NY - On March 5, Councilman Kevin LaValle met at Town Hall with Chris Dickson, a freshman at Centereach High School who is participating in the Middle Country Schools Career Exploration Program. The Councilman and Chris spent the day meeting with different Town departments regarding various projects in the Third Council District. They also stopped by the office of Suffolk County Legislator Tom Muratore. Chris will be preparing a presentation about the experience in hopes of possibly winning a scholarship.

Councilman LaValle said, "It was great to spend the day with Chris and share my own experiences working at Town Hall and in the community. The Career Exploration Program is a good way for students to see first-hand the different paths they can go in a career."

If you have a child or student who would like to "shadow" Councilman LaValle for a day, please contact his office at 631-451-6647.
