[ARCHIVED] Animal Shelter’s “Meow Mania” Offers Free Cat and Kitten Adoptions from September 13 to October 31

Farmingville, NY -  The Town of Brookhaven Animal Shelter and Adoption Center will be offering free cat and kitten adoptions from September 13 to October 31 in celebration of “Meow Mania.” The normal adoption fees of $140 will be waived and it includes free neuter or spay, vaccinations, microchip, license, heartworm test, flea and fecal. Supervisor Ed Romaine said, “We have so many beautiful kittens and cats at the Brookhaven Animal Shelter who need to be in a forever home with a loving family. If you see a cat in your future, come on down and meet one of ours.”

Those who are interested in adopting a dog or cat should visit the Brookhaven Animal Shelter and Adoption Center located at 300 Horseblock Road in Brookhaven. It is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. For more information, please call 631-451-6950 or visit the Brookhaven Animal Shelter website at www.brookhavenny.gov/animalshelter.
