[ARCHIVED] Councilwoman Cartright Installs Suffolk County Women’s Business Enterprise Coalition Officers

Farmingville, NY -  On September 12, Councilwoman Valerie M. Cartright (left photo) was on-hand to install the officers of the Suffolk County Women’s Business Enterprise Coalition (SCWBEC) during their monthly meeting at Adephi University in Hauppauge. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the SCWBEC empowers and connects women-owned businesses throughout Long Island. They promote, encourage and support their members to succeed in business through networking and professional development opportunities. It is the only organization of its kind on Long Island.

Councilwoman Cartright said, “SCWBEC is an outstanding organization that supports and promotes women in business on Long Island. I commend the organization for joining me as a community partner on important issues this year including pay equity. I congratulate the new board and look forward to working with them in the coming year.”
