Farmingville, NY – On March 27, Councilwoman Jane Bonner (pictured in top photo) visited Ridge Elementary School to participate in the second annual Leadership Day. At the event, the Councilwoman talked to the children about her role in Town government and the importance of community service. Leadership Day gives students the chance to meet with school, government and community leaders while they demonstrate their own leadership abilities.
Councilwoman Bonner said, “It’s so much fun to be around such an engaging group of students who have no problem saying exactly what’s on their minds. Their honesty and enthusiasm is a clear reminder that we must do all we can to help make their futures brighter.”
