Farmingville, NY – At the April 12 Town Board meeting, Councilwoman Jane Bonner (back row, center in all photos) and the Town Board honored members of the Rocky Point Wrestling team (top left), the Suffolk County Large School Champions; Rocky Point Cheerleading team (top right), Suffolk County Cheerleading Championships for Medium Varsity Teams Division 1; and the Miller Place Cheerleading team (bottom), Suffolk County Cheerleading Champions for Medium Varsity Teams Division 2. The Councilwoman presented Certificates of Congratulations to all the champions.
Councilwoman Bonner said, “It was my pleasure to honor these outstanding high school students. It takes hard work and dedication to excel in these very competitive activities and they should all be proud of their great accomplishments. I also want to commend the coaches and parents for all they do to help the children perform at such a high level.”
