Farmingville, NY - Recently, children of all ages came to meet jolly Saint Nick during the Town’s annual “Santa Comes to Longwood Estate” celebration. This fun-filled, family event included sleigh rides and pony rides, hot chocolate, roasted chestnuts, popcorn and a visit with Santa and his “Chief Elf,” Councilman Loguercio (left). Guests also enjoyed the “winter wonderland” inspired model train display with a spectacular Disney World feature for all to enjoy.
Councilman Loguercio said, "This was a beautiful day filled with fun and the holiday spirit. Thank you to the Town of Brookhaven Parks Department for all their hard work to make this a magical day for so many children and their families. A very special ‘thank you’ to Santa Claus, (Brian Brooks, Commissioner of the Ridge Fire Department) for taking the time to meet, greet and read all the letters from the children who stopped in to visit."
