Farmingville, NY - On January 4, Councilwoman Jane Bonner attended the Court of Honor Ceremony for Boy Scout Troop 161 of Shoreham. The ceremony was held at Wading River Fire Department headquarters. The Court of Honor ceremony recognizes Boy Scouts who have attained the highest rank of Eagle Scout. Since its introduction in 1911, the Eagle Scout rank has been earned by more than 2.5 million young men.
