Farmingville, NY - On Friday, January 24, Brookhaven Councilman Dan Panico presented a proclamation to Dylan D’Ambrosio on the occasion of attaining the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest and most prestigious rank that a Boy Scout can achieve. The event was held at the James V. Kavanaugh Knights of Columbus Hall in Mastic. A senior honor student at William Floyd High School, Dylan has been involved in scouting since he was in the first grade. During his time as a scout with Troop 138 in Mastic he has earned 34 merit badges and held several leadership positions, including Senior Patrol Leader. For his Eagle Scout project Dylan completed a brick wall around Grace Lutheran Church in Mastic Beach that had been started but never finished.
