Farmingville, NY - On February 12, Councilwoman Valerie Cartright was on hand to celebrate the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony of the new Sei-Ramen restaurant in East Setauket. The authentic Japanese restaurant focuses on small plates and ramen, providing their customers with the opportunity to sample a wide selection of items on the menu. Co-owner Kevin Ma lived in Japan and originally opened his first restaurant in Georgia. He later moved to the Stony Brook community. It took two years to get the restaurant up and running as they completed renovating the space which is decorated in a modern Japanese style. The new Sei-Ramen is located at 244 Route 25A in East Setauket.
