[ARCHIVED] Bonner Recognizes Local Businesses and Volunteers at Rocky Point Sound Beach Winter Awards Gala

Councilwoman also honored with distinguished Public Service Award

Farmingville, NY - On February 25, Councilwoman Jane Bonner attended the Rocky Point Sound Beach Chamber of Commerce Winter Awards Gala at the North Shore Beach Clubhouse in Rocky Point. The event was held to honor local businesses and volunteers who support the community and have worked to build up the chamber in its first year. In addition to recognizing the accomplishments of many local businesses, organizations and community members, Councilwoman Bonner was honored with the Distinguished Public Service Award.

Councilwoman Bonner said, “The Rocky Point Sound Beach Chamber of Commerce has come a long way in just one year. Their entire membership deserves to be honored for the work that they do to make the community a better place to live and I thank them for recognizing me with the Distinguished Public Service Award.”
