Farmingville, NY - It was a great time once again when Councilman Michael Loguercio met with the Longwood Middle School fifth and sixth grade Robotics Teams. Joined by several teachers and advisors, the students and Councilman Loguercio had a wonderful conversation about STEM initiatives and how they are relevant in everyday life. As they toured Town Hall, they were able to see first-hand how this process moves throughout the different departments and how a community improvement project such as theirs can come to fruition.
Councilman Loguercio said, "These are our future leaders and I am proud of their commitment and concern to make our community the best it can be. I am impressed by the efforts they have shown in their research and development and commend them all for their time and dedication with the robotics program. Every great idea begins with a question, and they certainly have shown that they are ready to work hard to see their projects through to fruition."
