Event Postponed: 34th Annual Women’s Recognition Award Winners Announced

Farmingville, NY - Supervisor Ed Romaine has announced the recipients of the 2020 Women’s Recognition Awards who will be honored at the 34th Annual Women’s Recognition Night. The event (postponed) is sponsored by the Town’s Office of Women’s Services. Nominated by members of the community, the winners either live or work in the Town of Brookhaven and have demonstrated excellence in a variety of areas. Nominations were considered by members of Brookhaven Women’s Advisory Board and selected based on resumes and letters of recommendation. The 2020 Women’s Recognition Award winners are:

Arts: Beth Giacummo-Lachacz, resident of Patchogue
Business: Anna Kirk, resident of Shirley
Community Service Professional: Ida Timmons, LMSW resident of Holtsville
Community Service Volunteer: Judith I. Betts, resident of Port Jefferson
Education: Lauren M. Roddin, resident of Holtsville
Government: Adeline M. Rosa, resident of Holbrook
Health Care Provider: Brandy Feliu, MSN, RN, resident of Coram
Law Enforcement: Investigator Sergeant Erin Meunkle, resident of Medford
Legal Profession: Leslie B. Anderson Esq., resident of East Patchogue
Medicine: Kimberly Herrera, MD resident of Setauket
Military: S.Sgt. Tatiana Garcia, resident of Brentwood
Religion: Nita Webb, resident of Bellport
