Online Payments, Building Division “Drop Off’ Service and Holtsville Ecology Site Closed

Farmingville, NY - While Brookhaven Town Hall currently remains open, it is strongly recommended that residents who have business with the Town to use online services or contact Town personnel by phone or email in order to reduce crowds at Town Hall to help prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Online Payments
It is strongly recommended that residents who have business with the Town use the online payment services linked below. All online payments must be made by credit card, debit card or e-checks in some cases. The following transactions can be processed online:

Building Division

Parks Department

Parking Violations

Town Clerk

Receiver of Taxes

Town Building Division “Drop Off” Service
Starting Monday, March 16, Building Division “Drop Off” service will be in effect until further notice. Please visit our Building Division Web page for details on what functions are included, payment options and “Drop Off” service instruction. This service is available from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Town Hall is located at One Independence Hill in Farmingville. Holtsville Ecology Site Closed
Per New York State Executive Order #202, the Holtsville Ecology Site and Animal Preserve will be closed to public access until further notice. For more information, visit the Holtsville Ecology Site and Animal Preserve Web page or call 631-451-TOWN (8696).

Planning, Environmental and Engineering Electronic Submissions
While the submission of electronic files to Planning is currently required for most applications, effective Monday, March 16, all applications may now be submitted online to PlanningStaff@BrookhavenNY.gov. All application documents can be found on the Planning page, on the right hand side of the page. If you choose to submit in person, a drop off box is located at the PELM counter on the second floor of Town Hall. After submission, a review will be performed by staff and you will be contacted with information regarding fees and any other items required to complete a submission. Any required paper copies or other submission filings may also be sent via USPS, FedEx, UPS or other similar service. All stamped and approved plans will be mailed unless otherwise requested. All inquiries may be made via email or telephone to your staff reviewer or directed to the PELM main line at 631-451-6400.
