Town Division of Environmental Protection Celebrates Earth Day with Fox Lair Cleanup in Yaphank

Farmingville, NY – In recognition of Earth Day, staff members from the Town’s Division of Environmental Protection were at “Fox Lair” in Yaphank to clean up the Town’s open space. The property is within the Carmans River Watershed at the south end of the Raymond P. Corwin Pine Barrens Trail. The staff removed a truckload of trash and debris from the location. Pictured left to right are Michael Albano, Peter Fountaine, Luke Ormond, Nicole Pocchiare, Vin Cerniglia (intern) and Dwight Surgan, all from the Town’s Division of Environmental Protection.
