[ARCHIVED] Town Asks Residents to Follow the Trash, Garbage and Bulk Item Pick-up Rules and Requirements

Town Seal

Farmingville, NY -  The Town of Brookhaven’s Department of Recycling and Sustainable Materials Management is committed to providing the highest quality service during these difficult times. While residents may be using their time to clean and remove clutter and bulk items from their homes, they must be mindful and considerate of the pickup rules and requirements in place. Our trash and recyclable collectors are working hard to provide an essential service that is a sanitary benefit to our Brookhaven communities. They are also following the recommended guidelines to stay safe and prevent the spread of the coronavirus. For details, visit BrookhavenNY.gov/ThrowingItOut and refer to the “What Is My Carter Required To Do” section of the “Throwing It Out In Brookhaven” guide. The Brookhaven Town Landfill is open for Residential Drop-off Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm and Saturday 7:00 am to 12:00 noon. Call 631-451-TOWN (8696) for more information.
