Farmingville, NY - Recently, Supervisor Ed Romaine and Councilman Neil Foley stopped by David’s Shoe Emporium in Patchogue Village to recognize the owner, David Zegel, as he gets ready to close the Main Street store after 73 years in business. The store was originally owned and operated by Mike Weiner and later by David’s father, Ralph Zegel. David took over in the 1990s. Supervisor Romaine and Councilman Foley presented David with a proclamation thanking him for his many years of service to the Greater Patchogue community.
