Farmingville, NY - Brookhaven Town Supervisor Ed Romaine (right) and Councilman Dan Panico, (third from left) recently met at Sedgemere Bridge in Center Moriches, where they personally thanked members of Boy Scout Troop 23 for cleaning graffiti from the bridge. The scouts performed this act of kindness not as part of a service project, but rather, just as an act of community service. Supervisor Romaine and Councilman Panico presented the scouts with certificates of recognition for their exemplary efforts.
Members of Troop 23 are: Nicolas and Ryan Pace; Riley and Logan Kaiser; Matthew and Ethan Zah; David Conklin, Ryan Person and Connor Hipp. They are led by Brian Zahn, Travic Kaiser and Brenda Pace.
