Farmingville, NY – On April 14, Councilwoman Jane Bonner joined the Mount Sinai Harbor Advisory Committee and more than 100 local community volunteers for the annual William Waltz Mount Sinai Harbor and Cedar Beach Clean Up. After a productive day of cleaning up, volunteers gathered at the Mount Sinai Yacht Club for refreshments provided by the Mount Sinai Harbor Advisory Committee and food donated by Tuscany Gourmet Market. The William Waltz Mount Sinai Harbor and Cedar Beach Clean Up is part of the Town’s Annual Great Brookhaven Clean-Up which will be held on Saturday, May 19. Visit the Recyling webpage for more information and to register.

Councilwoman Bonner said, “Cedar Beach and Mount Sinai Harbor are two of the Town’s most popular destinations and it’s up to us to protect and preserve their beauty. I thank all the volunteers who came out to help, especially Mark Hegreness and the members of the Mount Sinai Harbor Advisory Committee for taking the lead to help make Brookhaven Town a cleaner place for everyone to enjoy.”
