Farmingville, NY – On May 12, Councilman Michael Loguercio (second from right) joined volunteers working on the "South Country Community Leadership Network Extreme Yard Clean-up." Each year, the group provides yard clean ups for select residents in the South Country School District whose homes need sprucing up. They are joined by community volunteers who come together to help support this initiative. This year the Councilman donated several yards of mulch to the property and worked alongside other volunteers from South Country School District and South Country Library to name a few.

Councilman Loguercio said, “We look forward to this event year after year. To see all the community groups come together to help beautify and offer a little TLC to someone’s home is a great feeling. The homeowners are always so appreciative and the beautification helps make the neighborhood that much brighter for all to see. Thank you to everyone who participated and offered their time to make it a special day for this family.”
