JVC Broadcasting to Partner with Brookhaven Town to Hold Outdoor Toy Drive at Town Hall

Town Seal

Farmingville, NY - On Friday, December 11, all five JVC Broadcasting Radio Stations will broadcast from the Brookhaven Town Hall south parking lot from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to promote the Town’s INTERFACE Toy Drive. All the popular on-air personalities from My Country 96.1, LI News Radio 103.9, LaFiesta 98.5, Oldies 98.1 and Party 105.3 will be participating in the event. Last year, residents donated thousands of toys ranging from board games and footballs to dolls and bicycles.

The outdoor Toy Drive is open to the public and those who stop by are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy appropriate for children ranging from infant to 15 years of age. All donated toys will be given to a family in need during this holiday season. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s Toy Drive will be held outside and operate as a drive-up, drop-off event. The 2020 Holiday Toy Drive will be in compliance with applicable directives, executive orders and guidance promulgated by Governor Andrew Cuomo.

The INTERFACE Toy Drive is sponsored by the Town of Brookhaven Youth Bureau. For more information about the Toy Drive or to find out more about the Youth Bureau’s programs, please call 631-451-8011 or visit the Town's website.
