Farmingville, NY – On March 9, Councilman Kevin LaValle was the guest speaker during the "Politics & Pastries" event held at the Sachem Public Library in Holbrook. Students from Sachem East and Sachem North High Schools were there to learn about Town of Brookhaven government and the importance of getting involved in the community. Councilman LaValle discussed his life in public service and fielded questions from the students. Pictured is Councilman LaValle reviewing the site plan of the Selden Athletic Complex on Boyle Road.

Councilman LaValle said, “It’s always good to meet with students who are interested in learning about their local government and how they can help to make their community a better place to live. I thank the Sachem Public Library for opening their doors to us and I look forward to having another student event in the future.”
