Brookhaven Town Extends Hours to 7:00 PM at Beaches and Pools on Wednesday, June 30

Farmingville, NY – In response to the high temperatures expected on Wednesday, June 30, Brookhaven Town will extend the hours at Cedar Beach in Mt. Sinai (West and Main Beaches), West Meadow Beach in Stony Brook and Corey Beach in Blue Point. Lifeguards will be on duty and restrooms will be open from 11:00 am 7:00 pm. The Town’s Holtsville and Centereach Pools will also be open from 11 am to 7:00 pm. Online pre-registration and payment for the pools is required. Go to for more details and to register. A Brookhaven Town resident parking sticker is required for free beach and pool parking except at the Centereach Pool, where parking is free. The parking sticker can only be purchased online at
